Our sister organisation Dudhsagar Research and Development Association (DURDA) is actively engaged with genetic improvement buffalo and cow. DURDA has undertaken Field Progeny Testing Programme of Mehsana buffalo since 1985 with techno-economic support of National Dairy Development Board, Anand. DURDA established semen station in 1979. It has got 3rd rank among 54 semen stations in India as evaluated by Central Monitoring Unit. More than 100 veterinary doctors here are working towards enhancing productivity of milk per cattle. Our initiatives also include livestock breeding and feeding. ‘Sagar’ Semen does for an artificial insemination is being supplied across India. DURDA offering best pedigreed / progeny tested bull’s semen doses produced from genetically superior bulls at reasonable cost.
